This is a continuation of my previous thread.

I'm trying to get an exemption for my 2" thick 32205 duplex tubesheet from Impact testing.

According to UHA-51 (G): "for vessels when the coincident ratio of design stress in tension to allowable tensile stress is less than
0.35.

MY problem is that my Compress design software does not calculate the stress ratio. Do any of you know the way to determine this?

It's not so much that I don't want to use impact tested plate, it's that I don't have an impact tested weld procedure to weld it with.

Compress does calculate the stress ratio. Make the sure the "calculate the mawp" is active. Also, make sure the thickness of the component is enough to lower the stress below the 0.35.
