I have to design a 5ft free-standing concrete wall. It has to be able to withstand the impact force of a 26,000 lb loader. I'm guessing the loader won't ever be going much more than 5 mph on impact...if it impacts at all. The loader must scoop up "beauty bark" from the sawmill debarker outfeed. I have attached a cartoon sketch.

How does a person caclulate the force of this sort of thing? I have never ran into this before.

My approach to the design once I figure out the loading is as follows:

1) I can tie into the existing concrete pad with dowels. But that isn't too much strength. Over-turning could be a monster unless I put in some buttress' so that over-turning is a non issue and I only have to deal with sliding and shear.
