Ifpexol Methanol Function

Dear All

Can anybody help to solve my problem

Is Methanol can be used as SOLE desiccant agent for dehydration system WITHOUT presence of Glycol (Ex : TEG) OR Methanol is only work as Hydrate Inhibitor to achieve optimum process in dehydration system so we must use Glycol as Primary Desiccant Agent?

Contact procenat wrt to ifpexol - but as far as i understand it: IFPEXOL replaces tradition glycol based dehydration.

MeOH acts as a hydrate/ice inhibitor and the low temperature causes the moisture (and light HC) to condense.

The tric is that you recycle some of the water to "wash" the condensate and thereby avoid excessive MeOH losses with the HC condensate.

Ok it seems clear to me..I will check PROSERNAT link as IFPEXOL patented Company to explore more.
