As per IBC, I have classified truck repair garage as Group S-1 occupancy where repair and maintenance of commercial heavy duty trucks will be carried out which should comply with maximum allowable quantities of hazardous materials listed in Table 307.1 (1) (see section 406.8).
It is difficult assume the maximum allowable quantities of hazardous materials to be stored in the repair garage at this stage. However, I can assume following materials can be assumed in the repair garage.
Spare vehicle batteries which may be hazardous
Vehicle tyres
Refrigerant for air conditioning

Can anybody advise me if above assumptions of materials and occupancy classification is in compliance with the codes for the truck repair garage

IBC-2012 Chapter 3 has Auto Repair Garages as S-1 occupancy.
