I would like to find the flow rate of an orfice.

I have an oriface in a flame prop, the oriface is 1/16" ID, I am supplying it with 20 Psig. The media is propane
SG 1.52, temp 60 deg F,.
Can someone help me with the formula to figure out the flow rate. CFH or BTUH ???
Ps figure a square edg oriface.

I can help. Open your college fluid flow text to the chapter on compressible flow. Find the section on orifices, and apply the methodology.

OR

Use the search functionality on this site and find hundreds of posts on orifices.

OR

Go to the FAQs in this particular forum and find one that deals with orifices.

OR

Search the orifices or "sizing orifices" using your favorite search engine. Mine is Google and Bing.
