I am not able to see objects other than layer no 1 in NX 9

Hello,

I am not able to see the objects other than layer 1. U have bodies in layers 50 61. When on the layer they show shiwn in part navigator but not visible on screen. If i move them to layer 1 then they shows.

Plz help

Do you have the other layers turned on?
If the layers are on and you still do not see the objects, it is probably a "layer visible in view" setting. Start the layer visible in view command and make sure that all the layers are marked as visible in all the modeling views.

If you're referring to modelling, try replacing the view with a different canned view. If the layers are now visible, "visible in view" is the culprit.

I am referring to modelling. I have turned on all the layers yet objects are not visible except layer 1 objects.

How does visible in view works in modeling. I am not aware of that.

yes, it oddly enough it works in modeling
Format -> visible in view -> reset to global
and then:
View -> operation -> save

That's left over form a time long ago when a 'Drawing' was a collection of 'Modeling views' placed in a random 'Layout'. Obviously we no longer create Drawings in that manner, but we never removed the view options since a view is a view is a view.

Thanks for advice.

I done reset to global in format visible in view, but when switch to front view, left or right view i have to continously do rest global. But this is one file if make new file same for new file also...

You may need to "reset to global" in all the views, it depends what the users before you did.
After you do that save the view so the previous settings don't come back.
