I am encountering an issue with the polyroots function in Mathcad Prime 9, as it produces roots in a seemingly random order. It was not issue in Mathcad 15. Specifically, in the given problems scenario, in the first case of v, the second root is positive complex conjugate, but in second case v1, the second root is negative complex. My intention is to generate an Im vs. real curve within a specified range. However, the variability in root ordering complicates this plotting process. Is there a method available to ensure systematic ordering of the roots for ease of plotting? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
