I want to make a drawing of an hydraulic cylinder where I have to show

closed condition and open condition (in phantom line)

in the same view. Is it possible?

Well an easy way to do that if your view is straight on (top, left, etc.) is to draw one of the positions (open or closed) as a cosmetic sketch or datum curve. Then just put that on a layer that's always off except in the drawing. Then in the drawing set the display mode for the sketch or curve feature to be phantom line.
