Hello,
I am trying to model a spiral wire reinforced hydraulic hose similar to the one here : http://blog.worldwidemetric.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/spiral-hose.jpg. I was looking to model it in Pro/E and analyse using Ansys.
Does anyone have any prior experience in modelling hoses?
Is there any specific software recommendable for hoses rather than these generic softwares?
Also, if possible, can anyone with prior experience give any tips on how to proceed about it? I am starting from zero here.
