My budget allows me to buy some HVAC design book. This one I couldn't check neither myself nor by my trusted colleagues:

"HVAC Principles and Applications Manual" by Thomas E. Mull,

while I have read controversary comments on Internet. If you know this book your suggestions will be very appreciable.

I prefer the Handbook of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration by Shan Wang, published by McGraw Hill. I have both and rarely use the HVAC principles and applications manual. You can view the chapter headings for the Handbook of ACR on knovel.com.

Thanks, this one looks much better. I think I'll take a risk.

For HVAC design the Carrier design manual is also a very good book.

imok,

I once found a pdf copy of the Honeywell Engineering Manual of automatic control on the web. The website you mention has a link to an electronic version, any idea where a pdf might be?
