How to use Tresca yield criteria for plasticity?

By default I assume that the ABAQUS uses the von Mises yield criteria when plasticity parameters are added to the material properties. Is there a way I could enforce the Abaqus to use the Tresca

I am struggling with it and I can't find a clear way to do it.

Abaqus doesn't have a built-in Tresca plasticity criterion. You would need UMAT subroutine to implement it.
