I have glass microspheres which are in wide size distribution, i.e. 10-100um. Do you have any way to separate the large ones from small ones since I want to narrow the size distribution? Any suggestion is appreciated.

Try doing a search on "Elutriation".

Dear unclesyd, thanks for your information. I have tried to search the topic on "Elutriation", but i could not find any method practical to me. I also learned Screener is one equipment for this purpose. But our institute has no this facility. And I only have samll amount of sample. Is there any practical and easy methods to separate them?

Presumably your "um" unit is microns. You can screen down to about 25 micron (600 mesh) using an 8" test sceen from tyler or one of the other test sieve manufacturers. Below this you may need to cyclone.
