Can somebody help me how to print the views in color? In the draft file all views are fine but when i print only text and dimension are colored.I'm using ST2 i don't have this problem in ST1.

On the printer options is the 'print all colors as black' option ticked?

Hi,

does the problem exist for shaded views only? The this might help

Below this registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version 102\DEBUG

insert a new key (when not there)

name: PrinterPlgBlt
Type: Dword
Value: 1 (the value can be either 0 or 1)

and see whether it solves. (I think in V100 and below the value was set
to 1 when the key was missing from the DEBUG section)

Problem solved! Thank you donyoung

glad that I could help.
With V100 and below I had to insert the key with a value of 0.
Now I can delete this they and printing is still OK. So I think
they changed the default to 0 which might lead to problems with
those printers that did work before. This 'switch' has something
to do with a technique called 'Bit Masking' to avoid overprinting
of views were one view area hides the other. But not all printer
driver can handle this ...
