Dear All,
I was just wondering how 96-98% zinc chloride is mass produced? any recomended site or book? Is it just through reaction of HCL and Zn?

Yep, that's one method.
The Condensed Chemical Dictionary, 10th Edn., for preparation, via "Action of hydrochloric acid on zinc or zinc oxide."
