How to make 80/20 Extrusion file a reusable library item

Hi,

I have an 80/20.net Aluminum extrusion outline that I have extruded into a solid. How can I make this a reusable library part with any desired length that I need?

I got an expression that seems to work.

var 1~96+1/16

Is there a better way?
