UDF library write permissions

Hello,

My organization is using NX 2306, and we currently have 0 metric UDF files. When adding English unit UDF's I could just copy a preexisting one and adjust for my needs, but since we have no metric files, I am scrambling for a solution on how to create one with the UDF wizard.

I receive a "no write permissions" message when I choose the library where I want my file saved, and I am trying to gain said write permissions.

What I have tried:
Adjusted nx 2306 defaults dpv file so nx points to my computer for UDF libraries
Adjusted ugii_env_ug.dat file so nx points to my pc for customer defaults
ran as admin on my admin profile

Still no luck, any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Browse to these locations, these locations maybe write protected. These are usually read only. View attachment 10019
I forgot to mention I tried unchecking that box both as non-admin and admin; I would uncheck the box and accept it, but if I exit then go back into properties it is still checked read-only.

I just discovered the newer "feature template author" function and was able to save one this way, but having issues with this method as well. When I create my part, it appears in my UDF library but no interface comes up when I try to select it (I can keep clicking forever with no response)

I gave up trying to figure out the template author/udf wizard and will put this on my list for a rainy day. I was able to go into nx's default UDF library to pull a metric file to use as my template. Thanks!
