I have problem to find induced voltage in Piezoelectric material patched on beam using ANSYS.11

my problem is how to actuate beam in ANSYS ..what is the procedure to find induced voltage on Piezoelectric material

Better to use ANSYS forum- I don't understand your question so make it clearer on the ANSYS forum

piezo-electric material reacts to the strain, yes?

and this response is known, ie voltage = k*strain, yes?

so ANSYS would be a good tool for determining the stress/strain of a beam in bending

how i should vibrate the beam to find voltage on PZT patches.

i have to give mechanical energy to beam patched with PZT. after this i need find the voltage on PZT

it sounds like you want a time dependent loading ... look in the ANSYS manuals for an example
