Dear Everyone,

Now,I am trying to work on fatigue analysis in tractor frame but there are no good examples for me to practise with fatigue function in ANSYS. I beg everyone for an example of fatigue analysis.Please help me for it.

Yours Sincerely

Here's a few websites to start you off with:

Get yourself some good notes on fatigue, particularly those discussing issues such as:

-> The Mean Stress relationships
-> S-N and e-N curves/analysis
-> Goodman, Gerber, Modified-Goodman, Morrow, Soderberg relationships
-> Haigh Diagrams
-> Interpretation of fatigue data (strain data, mean/alternating stresses, etc.)
-> Check any book on strength of materials. Here you'll find a lot of theoretical and probably some practical information, including figures for endurance/fatigue limits for engineering materials

Fatigue is a BIG subject area, as no doubt you'll find out.

Cheers,

You could also use a specific fatigue software like FE-Safe or FE-Fatigue that takes the results file from anays and uses traidtional fatigue theories to compute fatigue life and potential failures. I dont know if you have that software though.
