How to determine the direction of spool movement

Hello,

I am automation engineer so please excuse me. I was wondering ,Is it possible to know in which direction the spool moves for applying position voltage and negative voltage without reading the manual and only accessing the diagram on the valve. I am talking about the proportional solenoid valve . For instance what is difference between these two. Is there any standard ?

But is it possible to tell from the schema which direction the spool moves in case I apply -10V without looking up the manual

The spool symbol nearest the actuator is selected when the actuator is energized.

All symbols in a schematic is drawn in the position they have when nothing is energized, electrically or hydraulically.
So here we can see how a not energized valve is drawn and we then have to imagine its position when it is energized.
When it comes to the electric DC +/- polarity the solenoid will push/pull independently how you connect +/-
If the "slash" line in the symbol leans in the opposite direction it will be the symbol for a pull solenoid.

When it comes to these two valves I cant see any other difference than on which side the position sensor is placed
