how to convert VBprograms in VBdocs to see them on the WEB

What I need to do is the following:
I already have a program made in VB6, but I want to place it as a HTML document, in order to other people to use it trough the web. I have heard something about activeX documents, I tried and it only work when I have visualbasic loaded. I need an application loaded on a webserver, and the people that access to this application will not have VB.
Can anybody help me with this?
