WHAT IS THE SIMPLE EQUATION FOR CALCULATING , HOW MUCH TENSION NEEDED FOR AN INDUSTRIAL FAN BELT(V BELT) WHICH IS DRIVEN BY MOTOR.WE HAVE THE DIAMETERS OF PULLEYS , RPM ,POWER (KW) OF MOTOR , SPAN LENGTH OF MOTOR. KINDLY GIVE ME THE TIPS...

1) Don't use CAPITALS please
2) Have you tried to find out via google etc?

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

Belt manufacturers usually publish this information. The also provide tools to measure tension.

Yes, I am looking for a simple equation with these given data , but I couldn't able to find an answer ...Please

There is no simple equation. That's why you have not found it.

How do you figure you are going to describe the proper assembly "tension" when you find it?

The breaking strength of the belt would be the tension but then you have to consider types of belts, starting and running (continuous, intermittent)loads, environmental factors such as temperature. A quick check would be to press at the center(that is between sheaves) point of the belt to determine if the "play" is not excessive. Manufacturers' technical literature will state the applicable limits of such "play".
