How to calculate magnetic flux.

Hello everybody, Im new to the forum.

For some time i have tried finding out how to calculate the resulting magnetic flux (B) that is created in a coil whit a iron core.
But i cant find any answer, I have lost hope in finding the answer on google.

If someone could give me a exampel i would be very greatful :)!

There are lots of examples. Google magnetic path, reluctance, permeability, flux and such words. One rather old source is E T Glas "Likströmslära".

I find this resource useful:


Slides 1 through 10 lead to the development of the relationship between B and current in a coil. Note that the core material is not considered, so you'll have to substitute the relative permeability of iron where appropriate. Also note that "magnetic flux" as you say, is typically denoted [Φ], with B being reserved for "magnetic flux density".
