I need calculate a nozzle with a configuration similar to Fig UG-40(g) of ASME VIII Division 1.

I need to known how to calculate area A5 using te given in figure UG-40(g).

Area A5 is calculated as a rectangular area
A5 = (Dp - d - 2tn)*te*fr4 ?

Or

Area A5 is calculated as a triangular area
A5 = 0.5*te*te*tag(30)*fr4 ?

Actually is twice the triangular area as there is such reinforcement on both sides of the cross section, so for Fig UG-40(g) -

A5=te * te * tan(30) * fr1

First equation you mention is applicable where credit can be taken for additional reinforcement up to the limit defined by dimension "Dp" - not applicable in your case. Likewise "fr1" is the relevant factor as reinforcement is part of nozzle material.

Just do not forget that fr1 max is taken as 1,
