Dears,

I would like to build the SPAM 150C Curve in the SKM.

But, it seem not so easy.

Please advise if you have any suggestion or experience!

Thanks in advance!

I've never actually made a curve in SKM. Their engineers will make it for you free of charge as long as you provide them the appropriate curve references. This is what they do every day... I leave it to them. I typically receive an updated library file in 1-3 days.

Dear DistCoop,

Thanks for your reply.

I had passed this message to SKM several days ago.

And received the .lib file, too.

But, the question is no formula in the file that same as ABB's Menu.

So I really wonder how to set up the curve model in the library.

If have any further information, please let me know.

Thanks again.

Best regards,

Stanley

I'm not sure how familiar you are with SKM, so forgive me if I'm explaining things you already know.

You must double click a device to open the component editor. What's there, select "settings" from the list of component subviews. You should have 5 drop-down boxes under a column titled "Segment." There you will select which elements (LTPU, INST, etc) you have available in your model. You then select the appropriate settings to the right.

If the datasheet you gave to SKM contains equations or formulae, they won't be seen in this component editor. They are only of use in constructing the general shape of the curve for SKM... you manipulate the settings to specify exact shapes, cut-off points, etc of the curve.

I hope that answers your question. Let me know if I'm not clear.

Dear DistCoop and Slavag,

Thanks for your kindly reply and explanation.
