Hello,

I am trying to simulate a circuit with my multisim ver.9 or altium protel program.

The components are some mosfet transistors and their drivers all Fairchild branded. How can I add these component(simulation models) to my Multisim or Protel libraries?

Thanks

You'll get the best advice on the Altium boards... try there.

Hi,

If you're creating a transistor, the easiest way is to probably follow this component creation tutorial that shows you how to create a component using an existing component in the database as a template:
If you're still having trouble, let me know and I can try to give you a hand.

hi nabaker,

thank you for your response. but I am not able to find the Multisim's models for my selected Mosfets from manufacturer's (i.e. Fairchild) site or national instruments site or anywhere else. I suppose some Multism programs they have model maker feature (but not mine) so you can enter data from component's datasheet and it will make the required model usable on multisim database.

I am still looking for a solution.

regards,

Why have you not asked this question on Altium's site, as I suggested? If you are a registered user, the forums are free... or are you using illegal software?
