How long to keep samples? 1

Does anyone know how long samples should be kept after a project is completed? Is there a standard time for liability reasons?

I've often seen notes on sample submissions where they stipulate that samples will be retained for 90 days, or whatever. You might consider that. If retention for longer then storage fees.

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Do you feel any better?

IMO, soil boring samples should be kept at least until the structure foundations have been completed. Unfortunately, this storage costs money.
