I am trying to get a stud spacing (unitless) for inventor. My spreadsheet has the calculations for figureing the spacing based by loading. I am setting up an assembly model to be completely ran by a spreadsheet. All of the values being read by inventor have a inch unit and i want the stud spacing to be unitless. Any suggestions?

Absolute zero has nothing on me!!

Are you specifying the units in the Excel sheet. The columns should be (from left to right)

Parameter Name, Value, Unit

If you leave the unit column blank it will default to length (in your case Inches).

Use "ul" (no quotes0 to make it unitless.

See my website for a tutorial on the subject.
