I am looking for heavy construction projects (concrete, roads, structures) where I can get a foot in the door as an Occupational Safety Engineer Trainee. College educated (BS Business), seasoned heavy construction carpenter, and willing to relocate short or long term worldwide, I could use some advice and direction. Thank you, Kevin Oxley [sig][/sig]

Kevin,

Check out the Association of General Contractors (AGC) website for local chapters (areas you would like to work)and look for a list of contractors. Choose the contractors, presumably large, that fit the description of what you are looking for.

Here in the midwest, only the largest contractors employ OSE.

In addition, you may want to check with those engineering/architectural firms offering Construction Management and or Design/Build services. [sig][/sig]

The magazine Heavy Construction News lists upcoming projects and contract awards. Knowing the name of the Contractor who got the award is a place to start and they will be gearing up. [sig][/sig]
