How do I create a sweept helical feature

Hej everyone

I have a problem!

I want to make a sweept helical feature.
It is a flexible hose with ribs.....see picture.

I have managed to make the helical feature, but I want to sweep it along an axis.

I do not have the the express route or harness design modules.

What you are trying to do is a helical form around a non-linear axis.
I do not think this is possible, or practical.
Just use a simple tube generated by sweeping a circle along a spline curve.
You can use the FRAMES function instead of express-route.
