There must be a simple way, but I can't find how to change the default background colour of white to black. Dosy thing is, I have done it at work but can't remember how (must be getting late)!

Can someone poke me in the right direction?

System Options, Colors, Viewport background is at the top of the list.

You can also make the background a gradient color which is better than both the, bright...eye piercing white and that dull AutoCAD look of black.

You can click on Tools, System Options, Colors and click in the box use Gradient background. Then click on "top Gradient color" and click on "Bottom Gradient color" and change those colors.

Looks better if you ask me. Using black you will have to change your wireframe look unless you Allow HLV in wireframe mode.

Just my $.02 worth... Good Luck!
