I am new to using autodimension. I have it in my sketch toolbar, but it is greyed out when I place a sketch, so I am unable to use the tool. I have looked and I can't find a way to activate it. Any help would be appreciated.

The Autodimension function is to be used for dimensioning views in a drawing, not for dimensioning a sketch. To use the Autodimension function open or create a drawing, select a drawing view, then go to Tools, Dimension, Autodimension, and follow the prompts. If you are trying to dimension an underdefined sketch go to Tools, Dimensions, Fully Constrain Sketch. Is that what you're asking?

There was an Auto Dimension in SW06 SP5.0 - that sucks if they took that out in SW07.

It was helpful in sketches versus just drawings.

Thanks SBaugh! I suppose it did change in 2007. I saw a SolidWorks Sales demo that showed this tool, but is was diplayed using 2006. I'm not sure why they would have changed it, but full define sketch seems to mostly do the same thing.
