How do I access the output value of one element and apply it for for all elements in usdlfd?

Hi!
I'm using USDFLD subroutine of abaqus. I'm calling ECD output by getvrm utility and using the values from ECD in an equation to update my Field. Is there a way I can use the value of ECD at one particular element and apply it as a fixed real number in the equation to calculate the field for all the elements? I want my field to be uniform for all the elements.
