I am looking for a structural engineer to help mr to evaluate the possibility this house design I am orking on.
It is a small house with 2 layers of stainless steel slab and walls with no beams and no columns. The structure will be a double folded sheet of metal. Does anyone of you have experience on calculating this type of structure. What could be the span of a sandwich of two 1/2 inch thick steel plates ?
Thanks
david

you can check the moment-factor in mechanics handbook.
Or, if the slab is narrow and long, you can simply consider the slab as many beam which width is 1".
