hot tap impact temperature

Hello all

we are constructing a 48" crude oil line in accordance with ASME B313. we'll take a branch from existing line by a hot tap operation.

How can I find an information about at what temperatures does the impact have to be carried.

By ascertaining the minimum design temperature of the piping (if it is a pipeline you would be using B31.4) and consulting B31.3.
