Thanks SlideRuleEra, I just downloaded and thumbed through it. Lots of good info. It's not surprising that most on the committees noted at the end are from California. It is good to see the Lowcountry is represented with at least a single member on the comittee. Most who engineer homes in this area are following these practices as closely as possible and reasonable, however there are those who still "rubber stamp" house plans. Shame on em!!!

Thanks Redfish205, I had not looked carefully at the list of members. Met him once, in the 1990's, if memory serves. He and I both offer continuing education classes at Trident Tech now.
