If I understand correctly, you want one sketch to act as the master (or layout) sketch and to be used as a positioning aid for several
different Hole Wizard holes ... not necessarily all the master sketch points will be used in every HW set ... and the master sketch points qty will vary.
If this is what you are trying to do you are SOL.
The points used to define the subsequent HW sets will still exist if you delete a point from the master sketch and will not be automatically created (i.e. not exist) if you add points to it.
I'm not sure it's possible, but you
may be able to use the master sketch in a "Sketch Driven Pattern" so that all the points are used & then use a DT to "Skip" the uneeded holes.
