Hello!
I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with the H&B HW-340 Wedge Inserts, but they've been used fairly regularly on a number of projects that I've come across recently.
I've been given the run-around, and currently have voicemails and emails in, but I was wondering if anyone else has ever requested information on their capacities. As listed, their ultimate strength is 16,650 lbs shear and 13,093 lbs tension for 4,125 psi concrete. I'm curious if this value takes into account the concrete breakout/shear checks as well, or if that is for the steel alone. On the one hand, the listing of the minimum concrete strength suggests that this is a factor taken into consideration, on the other hand it would certainly be helpful to have any documentation backing that up.
Thanks in advance!
