I am looking for a standard, guideline or specification that delineates the definition of HI-MODULUS versus LOW-MODULUS epoxies and polymers (tension and compression).
In other words, are there limitations for these properties, in terms of actual numbers, for a material to be defined as either a HI-MOD or a LOW-MOD polymer/epoxy?
As I browse through many tech data sheets for various manufacturers, the terminologies for modulus seem to be used over a wide variety of actual mechanical properties. This gives the impression it is really up to the manufacturer to define it.
