I've seen this mark (CG) on equipments. what does it mean?

The circle with two adjacent quadrants blanked out is a typical symbol for center of gravity. Such symbol is found in rigging manuals.

Note there should be similar symbols on two of the other surfaces since you need the dimensions in three perpendicular planes to get the exact C of G.
