hi guys,
i did a standard proctor test with 4 trials (4 different water contents 10%,14%,18% and 20%) but i didn't reach the peak for the graph, i mean the total mass of compacted soil didn't decrease to draw the curve that i want to determine the gamma dry ?
and the professor said i cant just go and add 2-3% water content to make the 5th trial he said that in this cases you can do another thing to determine the peak, but he said im not going to tell you about it. i will be appreciated if you can tell me what is this thing ?
