Hi all,

I am working on a project where we have a considerable amount of blasting to perform and they want us to provide a blasting price by cubic meter base, using 4 drills. Can I have some assistance with how I could estimate this cost for our client, by cubic meter?

If you have not done this before, I'd sub the work to an experienced blaster.

Imposible to answer your query without a lot more detail. Is this blasting to be done downtown or in the middle of nowhere?? 1000 cu metres or 10 million??? rock geology ??? local water conditions ? etc etc.

Also, make sure that you make provision for seismology and related surveys of nearby structures.
