I have a background in residential and boundary surveying. Recently I began bidding commercial projects. Site work is no problem but I have limited experience with reading structural blueprints or construction staking for buildings, parking garages, and bridges. Any ideas out there where I can find a good reference to assist me with getting a better understanding on reading these plans and laying out these structures or even bidding techniques. Maybe an all inclusive construction layout reference. Found plenty on the web but don't want to purchase and find out the references aren't what I am looking for. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
