Help with save as command in Teamcenter 11

We just recently upgraded to Teamcenter 11. Prior to the upgrade when I would do a save as, the majority of the fields would automatically populate with information from the existing file that I was using to save as. This was nice because many times much of the information did not change. Since the upgrade all the fields are empty. Is there a setting I can change to get the fields to populate using info from the existing file? Thank you in advance!

Siemens changed the Teamcenter preference "CopyFromOriginal" to "false" OOTB, starting with Teamcenter 10.1.3.

Search GTAC Solution Center for PR7283152 for a document talking about this change.

This may be the reason you are seeing a different behaivoir in Teamcenter 11.
