I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with some laser cutting conditions.
I am running a 1500watt 6 axis laser.
Rotary chuck is being used for tube cutting.

Material: 4"dia 0.068 wall aluminized tube.

Thank you in advance.

HI There SGU44, from your name I'm thinking your operating a Mazak so you may wish to try these cut conditions:

1500 watts - 500 freq - 100 duty - gas pressure should be around 10.

I'd suggest a fee rate of 105 IPM for a start and see where that leads you. As I'm not sure exactly what problems your having it is rather hard to know what to tell you.

Good luck.

hey there,
if i can help you, let me know. i am curently running a SG
2000w, fanuc control. i know that when cuuting tube the focus point is critical.
