Help with facade detailing

Can someone give this fellow a bit of advice? It is a facade engineering question, posted in the truss forum, which is usually for wood truss questions.

Probably the solution here is not use the aluminun framing to brace the structural frame. Make a complete structural frame and let the aluminum frame "float" (retained enough) on it. You can insert small double pinned or alike small members between the two frames, ad use sliding bottom support for the aluminum one.
