help determining root cause

Inside a chamber the acceptable range is 45 C to 55 C. During one run it was recorded 44.9 C. The instrument tolerance is 1 C. Last year the same chamber fail becasue over temperature. No other failure observe in any other machines. The chamber is an ETO sterilizer.

What could be root cause for the 44.9 C value obtained?
