Help calculating anti backlash gear losses

Hi everyone,

I have designed a small anti-backlash gear with a module of 0.8 and a mesh diameter of 40mm. The anti-backlash feature is achieved by splitting the gear in two and adding a torsion spring between. The gear will transfer 0.45 Nmm torque at about 90 RPM.

I am looking for help calculating the efficiency of the gear transmuting the torque to a similar size gear (without anti-backlash quality).

Would anyone be able to help me with this calculation?

Thank you in advance for your help!

The loss will be as if you were transmitting a slightly higher torque of the amount provided by the anti-backlash pre-load. If the pre-load is to allow the anti-backlash gear to take the full reverse torque, as in a reversible drive, it would double the loss.
