Is I am new to this website and just became a member. I am looking for a library of grip programs. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Franny

GRIP library is distributed by UGS with the software. Your system manager may not have installed it.

What do you want GRIP to do for you? In NX it is very limited as far as capabilities for geometric and machining work. It is useful for file management.

If you are looking at customizing UG, then I would suggest that you learn C/C++/.net and use the newer programming tools.

Well, I have a grip program that creates a blank from a selected solid. I was hoping that one existed that created a blank from the selection of multiple solids. We often machine parts from one piece of stock.

Is this the program that was posted on the UG BBS this week?
