Do you consider Desuperheater an item of instrumentation? It is a Final Control Element of the steam temperatures.

and a desuperheater was an item of process equipment. Do you mean the control valve attached to the nozzles.

so the system operating that control valve(s) is definitely instrumentation, but I dont understand what you need to know
