My current application is for a large crane with 8 to 12 inch pin size and bearing loads on the order of 800 KIPS.
I am currently using an allowable stress range of ~16 KSI for the bearing material. What would be the best bearing material with only grease lubrication and rotation limited to < 90 degrees?

I am stumped by these units, KIPS? KSI? Had to look up Wikipedia, you lot and your strange units....started to convert to Newtons and MPa but then got tired.
Have a look at GGB, see if their DX would be suitable:

The use of composite bearings for this application is usually not appropriate. I have tried them in the past with dissapointing results. I have used DX bearings for an offshore servo system design and the bearings failed after just a few cycles. I trust grease, bronze, inches and pounds (KIPS).
